Worship at 9:30am: It's Pentecost Sunday! You're invited to wear red to remind ourselves of the fire of the Spirit the Apostles witnessed in Jerusalem.
Annual Meeting: The meeting will take place immediately after worship. Please note that this meeting will not be livestreamed, so we encourage you to attend in person. Some highlights at this meeting include:
Vote on the Sale of North Property to Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV): We will be voting on a motion to allow the Church Council to negotiate the sale of a portion of our property to MACV for the purpose of development by Lennar Builders for a Veterans’ Village. A draft motion and more details can be found here. We want to remind you that voting members, 18 years and older, are eligible to vote on the sale of this land. You will receive a ballot when you arrive on Sunday. Associate members, per our church’s constitution and bylaws, do not have voting privileges.
Revealing of the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Welcoming Statement: Our RIC team has been working hard to build a welcoming statement as part of our process in becoming an RIC congregation through Reconciling Works. Team members include Jeremy Bierlein, Rebecca Gierok, Brian Hornbecker, and Jean Taylor. They are open to any questions or feedback regarding the statement at the luncheon.
Burger and Hotdog Luncheon: Following the meeting, we will have a delicious burger and hotdog luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. It's a great opportunity to enjoy good food and company.

MACV Veteran Housing Info Session
Join us in considering an important decision for our congregation: the potential sale of property to Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV).
MACV is dedicated to aiding Veterans facing unique housing challenges, striving to offer long-term solutions and ultimately end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. Together with MACV, we are exploring the possibility of selling a property—specifically the land hosting the parsonage and white farmhouse—to support the creation of permanent housing for local veterans in need.
Learn more about this initiative as MACV presents their plan (which will not be livestreamed) during our 9:30am worship service on Sunday, May 5. This will be an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and gain deeper insights into the project.
Voting on the sale of this property: Sunday, May 19 at 9:30am Worship & Congregational Meeting.
Your participation is invaluable as we consider how best to support our community and those in need.
