We're so glad you're here. Whether you're new to faith, new to the area, or just looking for a community to call home, you belong here.
Mount Calvary is an ELCA Lutheran church in Eagan, MN, and a Reconciling in Christ congregation. That means everyone is welcome here, no exceptions. Whether you're in the pew, on the lawn, or watching from your couch, we'd love to worship and be in community with you.
Join Us for Worship
September through May
9:00am — Kick Sunday mornings off with coffee, donuts, and good conversation in the Gathering Area. Come early and meet some folks.
9:15am — Sunday School for kids PreK–5th grade. First Sundays include a special class for infants and toddlers.
9:30am — Worship in the Sanctuary. Expect a warm blend of traditional and contemporary music and a message that connects to everyday life. Sunday services are always livestreamed on YouTube.
Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm we also gather for a quieter, more casual service. A great option if Sunday mornings don't always work for you.
Lent, Holy Week, and Easter
Lent, Holy Week, and Easter are meaningful seasons in the life of the church—times to pause, reflect, and remember God’s steady presence through life’s hardest moments and greatest joys. Whether you worship with us regularly or are thinking about coming for the first time, you are welcome at Mount Calvary.
Summer Sundays ☀️
Early June through late August
Worship is at 9:30am and sometimes moves outside to our Community Green Space. Grab a lawn chair or blanket, dress comfortably, and enjoy worship out in the open. We'll always head inside if the weather has other plans.

Families are welcome here
Bring your kids. Seriously. Children are welcome in worship, and we mean it. If you'd rather keep the little ones with you during the service, we have activity sheets and coloring supplies to help them stay engaged. We also have an unstaffed nursery available if you need a moment with your child.
Sunday School runs during the 9:15am hour for kids PreK–5th grade. Infants and toddlers are offered a special class on the first Sunday of the month.

Wednesday Night Suppers
Every Wednesday, 5–6pm in the Fellowship Hall. An affordable hot meal, good company, and honestly one of the easiest ways to meet people.

A great way to go a little deeper with a smaller group of folks.

Whether it's serving here at Mount Calvary or getting involved with one of our local mission partners, there's a place for you to plug in and make a difference.

We're at 3930 Rahn Road, Eagan, MN 55122, just up the hill from the Eagan Outlet Mall. Parking and the main entrance are on the east side of the building, opposite of the street.
From Hwy 77: Exit onto Hwy 13 N and head east. Turn right on Silver Bell Rd, continue to Cedar Grove Pkwy, then turn left at the stop sign onto Rahn Rd. We're on your left at the top of the hill.
From I-35E: Exit onto Diffley Rd and head west. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Rahn Rd. We're on your right, just past the old fire station.

Nope! Just show up. You don't need to register, call ahead, or know anyone. Walk in, grab a bulletin at the door, and find a seat. Someone will likely say hi before you even sit down.

Whatever's comfortable. You'll see everything from jeans to dress clothes on a Sunday morning — wear what feels like you.

Not at all. You don't need any church background, and you don't need to have everything figured out. We have a mix of people here with a range of stories who have found home at Mount Calvary. Questions about Lutheranism and Jesus and all of the things are greatly encouraged. Come as you are.

Yes. No questions asked. Wafers and wine or grape juice are available. Gluten-free wafers are available, simply ask the communion assistants when you get up to front of the line.

Absolutely. Families are so welcome here. Kids are welcome to stay with you in the service the whole time or are invited to try out Sunday School. Sunday School for PreK–5th grade runs at 9:15am most Sundays during the program year (September through May). Your child will return to you in worship around 10am just in time for communion, which they are open to take.
There are activity sheets and coloring supplies to keep little ones engaged during the service. We also have an unstaffed nursery if you need a quiet space.

Yes, we have committed our church as a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation through ReconcilingWorks. We believe that every person is beautifully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Psalms 139.14) and that God brings us together in our wide diversity to love and serve one another (1 Corinthians 12:13). We livestream every service on YouTube. It's a great way to get a feel for things before your first visit or to stay connected when life gets in the way.

Yes! Parking and the main entrance are on the east side of the building, opposite the street.

Typically, pastors or an usher are there greeting everyone who comes in on a Sunday. They’ll likely be your first hello.

Yes. We have wheelchair-accessible seating right at the Sanctuary entrance or in the very front (whichever you prefer), and hearing assistance devices are available at the Welcome Desk.
