Vacation Bible School 2010
Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be opening with a special orientation / opening program for parents and children followed by an ice cream social on Sunday, July 11 at 6:30 pm. VBS will continue on Monday, July 12 – Thursday, July 15. VBS will close with a special program for parents/grandparents on Thursday, July 15.
Offering collected during VBS will go to the Eagan Resource Center. A different item of food will be collected each day. Bring your food items in a paper grocery bag as those are needed as well.
Sunday: Toilet paper
Monday: Rice products
Tuesday: Pasta in a can
Wednesday: Mac & Cheese and soda crackers
Thursday: Peanut Butter & Jelly
Cash donations will also be accepted.
Preschool, age 3 – Kindergarten, just completed, will experience “'Baobob Blast.'” Kids will have the opportunity to hear the Word, be amazed at God's wildlife creations, and be a part of a supportive community. VBS meets from 9:00 am – noon; Cost: $30.00
- Water day is Wednesday, July 14. Children must wear their swimsuits to VBS. Do not bring a towel, one will be provided.
- Closing program is Thursday, July 15 at 11:45 a.m.
1st – 6th graders, just completed, will experience “Keeping the Earth” and focuses on the theme verse, "For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God.". Camp staff from Green lake Lutheran Ministries will lead the VBS/Day Camp program. VBS meets from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Cost: $50.00
- Remember to bring a lunch and drink everyday
- Bring a plain white t-shirt to tie-dye on Tuesday, July 13
- Water day is Wednesday, July 14 - bring suit, towel, sunscreen
- Closing program is Thursday, July 15 at 3:00 p.m.
